Best Local Help – Gold Canyon is an organization that was formed to make life a little easier for residents and homeowners of Gold Canyon and the surrounding 85118 communities of Peralta Trails, Peralta Canyon and Entrada Del Oro. It does this by making it very easy to access a comprehensive list (or directory) of the very best local businesses and service providers around who are ready, willing and able to assist them with what we call “life matters arising”. In addition, BLH Gold Canyon itself provides a range of services designed to help Gold Canyon’s “absent homeowner community” (ie it’s winter visitors, AirBnB & Vacation Rental owners etc) to deal with any “guest and property matters arising”.

BLH Gold Canyon is committed to supporting local businesses and service providers whenever possible. We have a strong preference for local family owned and operated businesses and will promote those whenever possible as experience has proven to us that businesses with a strong family connection to the communities that they serve almost always deliver far superior levels of service and stand by their work better than “out of towners” that simply take your money and disappear once the initial job is done.

We aim to provide no more than 5 top class local business/service provider options for each category of service requirement, ie 5 painters, 5 plumbers, 5 roofers etc, and commit a substantial amount of time and effort to maintaining those options as genuinely representing “five of the best local options” in each category. We take ongoing feedback from local residents and homeowners to ensure that this is indeed the case and will not hesitate to replace any business/service provider from our selections should their standards slip.

How does a business/service provider get in our directory? … By doing excellent work at the right price and on an ongoing basis right here in Gold Canyon or one of our neighboring communities, such that one or more of their happy customers recommends them to us for inclusion. We can’t include everyone but will gladly consider all recommendations to ensure that our “five of the best” categorization remains both current and valid.

In addition to maintaining our Directory and Preferred Vendor Lists, we also provide a range of services for “absent homeowners” ranging from periodic summertime irrigation or home checks to full blown property maintenance management, service provider engagement/management and AirBnB or Vacation Rental Management.
